Renewable Energy
GROUND SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
Ground source heat pumps work by pumping an antifreeze mixture through pipes in the ground in either a trench or borehole where it absorbs warmth from the inexhaustible free supply. When it returns to the heat pump the added heat is concentrated and made available for domestic water and a low temperature heating system such as underfloor.
AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
Air source heat pumps work by converting the energy of the outside air into heat, creating a comfortable temperature inside the house as well as supplying energy for the hot water system. The only space requirement is an outside wall making them ideal for appartments and homes with limited outdoor space. With no need for groundworks, installation costs are kept to a minimum.
SOLAR PANELS
Our solar collectors fully integrate with both our underfloor heating system and heat pumps or can be fitted independently. With flat panel and evacuated tube collectors available in a range of sizes, any project can be catered for. We will advise on the correct system configuration to achieve optimum efficiency for domestic hot water, underfloor heating or both, depending on your requirements.
